St. Jude Thaddeus, glorious apostle and martyr, you are a faithful friend to all who rely on your intercession. Gracious patron and helper in time of adversity, I come to seek your help.

(Mention your request.)

The cross that I carry seems too heavy for me to bear; I feel anxious and discouraged in the face of this difficulty. Intercede for me that I may once again know the power of the Lord’s redeeming love and the shield of his comfort in my life. Teach me, gracious patron, how to live by faith in Jesus’ promise that he is with me always. Teach me how to live in hope, relying on the Lord’s saving power to bring me through this time of pain and suffering. Teach me how to live in love that I may be a light in the darkness for others.

Glory to the Father.

KINDLY PRAY THE MIRACLE PRAYER BELOW:

The Saints on Prayer

Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you. ~Saint Augustine of Hippo

What prayer could be more true before God the Father than that which the Son, who is Truth, uttered with His own lips? ~Saint John Chrysostom

He who prays most receives most. ~Saint Alphonsus Maria de Liguori

Without prayer nothing good is done. God’s works are done with our hands joined, and on our knees. Even when we run, we must remain spiritually kneeling before Him. ~Saint Luigi Orione

Have confidence in prayer. It is the unfailing power which God has given us. By means of it you will obtain the salvation of the dear souls whom God has given you and all your loved ones.” Ask and you shall receive,” Our Lord said. Be yourself with the good Lord. ~Saint Peter Julian Eymard
