O Holy Paraskevia,
you pledged your troth
to the one faith
and you inherited life.
You poured your blood out
like the finest wine for Christ your spouse.
You pleased the angelic choirs in their songs,
and vanquished the devil.
O martyr name for Christ,
from your heritage you bestow health,
and you pray for the salvation of our souls.
