O glorious St. Simon De Rojas,
you were cured during your childhood
of serious speech impediments
through your devotion to the Most Blessed Virgin.
Obtain from the Most Holy Trinity,
through her intercession,
the remedy of speech defects in those for whom we pray,
or at least the spirit of Christian resignation
and patience to bear them,
if this should be God’s Holy Will.
We ask this, as we ask in all things,
through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
