Chaplet of the Immaculate Conception

How to pray the Chaplet of the Immaculate Conception

This devotion is prayed on a Chaplet of 15 beads. It has 3 sets of 4 beads, 1 end bead and the Miraculous Medal of the Immaculate Conception.

St. John Berchmanns, S.J. composed this Chaplet. Its intent is to be recited daily in order to obtain through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary the grace of never committing any sin against the virtue of purity.

You begin by making the “Sign of the Cross.”

During each set of 4 beads, you pray the following:

“Blessed be the Holy and Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.”

Say 1 “Our Father,” ,

4 “Hail Mary”,

and one “Glory be.”
