in Your love for us You sent Your Son
to be our Shepherd and Leader,
our Brother and our Lord.
You continue to show Your love for us
by sending us pastoral workers to care for Your people.
Bless + N. as he/she takes up this responsibility

in teaching and guiding us,
and in leading us in worship and prayer.
