Loving Father of all Your people,
You have chosen us to sing Your praises,
and You call us together
to hear Your word and give You glory.
Give your + blessing to these men and women
who serve Your people as ushers.
Let them welcome all in Your Name,
direct processions in Your honour,
and collect the gifts of Your priestly people.
Let their work be pleasing to You,
and help us to worship You worthily.
Father,
we ask this prayer
through Jesus Christ Your Son
in the love of the Holy Spirit,
one God for ever and ever.
